सोच डांट कर कहती है कि 'हर चीज़ है वैसी, किस बात की है कमी?'
 दिल भी बिफरा 'माना आसमां का रंग वही है, मिट्टी की महक वो नहीं।'
मुल्को कि बनावट उन्हें लुभाने लगी,
झूठी जन्नत ना लगे मुझे सगी।

ये अंदाज़ा ना लगाया जब मेरी बोली लगेगी ....
माँ-बाबू जी को वो मोल लायेंगे ...
पैसों से रिश्ते क़त्ल हो जायेंगे ...

फिज़ा कहती है वापसी अब हक़ीकत नहीं ....
पलट कर जवाब दे सकूँ उतनी मेरी कीमत नहीं ....
इंतज़ार मे रहा किये जिसके वो मौसम बदल गया है,
आईने का अक्स वही है ....
अंदर का शख्स बदल गया है।
